Happy Holidays from Tax2290.com — Wishing You a Successful Start to the New Year 2026!

As Christmas 2025 arrives and the holiday spirit fills the air, this season brings warmth, reflection, and gratitude. At Tax2290.com, we extend our heartfelt wishes to all truckers and trucking taxpayers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. While many celebrate the holidays with family and friends, we recognize that for countless truck drivers, this time of year means extended hours on the road—keeping the nation moving when it matters most.

During the festive season, truckers continue to deliver essential goods, supplies, and gifts that make the holidays special for communities across the country. Your dedication ensures store shelves remain stocked and businesses operate smoothly, even during the busiest time of the year. You are truly the heroes of the highways, and your unwavering commitment forms the backbone of our economy. We sincerely thank you for the sacrifices you make, especially during the holiday season.

As you wrap up the year and prepare for 2026, it’s important to stay aware of upcoming IRS timelines. The IRS will be temporarily unavailable in late December 2025 due to annual system maintenance, following the Christmas holiday. During this maintenance period, and services are expected to resume in the second week of January 2026. The IRS processing will be paused, which may delay filings and approvals. If you have any pending pro-rated Form 2290 filings, amendments, or refund claims, you can e-file your returns during this IRS shutdown through Tax2290.com. Any returns submitted during this maintenance window will be securely held on our servers and will be automatically transmitted to the IRS as soon as they begin accepting returns again.

Additionally, if you purchased or first used a heavy vehicle in November 2025, you are required to file Form 2290 pro-rated taxes and obtain a valid, IRS digitally watermarked Schedule 1 by the end of December. With the holiday rush and IRS maintenance window approaching, filing early is the best way to stay compliant and stress-free. At Tax2290.com, we’re here to help you file quickly, accurately, and securely—so you can focus on the road ahead and drive confidently into 2026.
