Direct Debit
With Direct Debit, the income tax repayable by you is taken directly out of your bank account. On using direct debit method, you need not print or mail Form 2290-V. Taxpayers direct debit authorization is used instead of this paperwork. Your check or money order should be addressed to the “United States Treasury.” Enter your EIN without fail in the “Form 2290”. Similarly enter the tax period on your check or MO. Cash should not be enclosed. Do remember that you shouldn’t staple Form 2290-V or your payment to Form 2290. Always detach Form 2290-V and mail it with your payment and Form 2290.
