Unified Carrier Registration is a program controlled by the government bodies (federal & state) along with the motor carrier industry to regulate the collection of fees imposed on motor carriers and the related entities. In simple words, the UCR agreement is applicable on interstate carriers, freight forwarders, leasing companies, etc. who have to register and file the assigned fees annually.
