IRS HAS RESUMED E-FILE OPERATIONS, E-FILE YOUR TAX RETURNS BEFORE DEADLINE JAN 31ST !

The IRS, after 13 days long maintenance shutdown since Dec 26th, 2018 has now resumed their e-file operations from this morning January 8th, 2019. That means any tax returns filed during the shutdown period will now be processed by the IRS and Tax Payers waiting on to their schedule-1 copies for filing Tax Form 2290 will receive it now.

Let us also remind you of the Three Important Tax Form Deadlines of the Month that should be filed on or before January 31st 2019. They are:

  • HVUT Form 2290 – For Vehicles first used in the month of December 2018.
  • Tax Form 720 – Federal Quarterly Excise Tax form 720 for the 4th Quarter of 2018.
  • Tax IFTA – International Fuel tax Agreement report for the 4th Quarter of 2018.
