HVUT Form 2290 for tax year 2016 – 2017 is now available for Pre-filing!

The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax Form 2290 is now available for the new tax year 2016-17 with http://Tax2290.com, an IRS Authorized e-file provider since 2007.

The 2290 is about to due from July 1st, 2016 for the new tax year starting on July 2016 to June 2017. We’re now ready and accepting 2290 tax returns in our website, hold it till IRS is up and operational to accept returns to issue Schedule 1 by 1 week of July. You need to renew your vehicle with the states and authorities, need to have the Schedule-1 proof by then to renew it.

HVUT Form 2290: Every Truckers responsibility

What is HUVT?
HVUT is the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax that is a fee assessed annually on heavy vehicles operating on public highways at registered gross weights equal to or exceeding 55,000 pounds. The gross taxable weight of a vehicle is determined by adding the unloaded weight of the motor vehicle and any trailers together with the maximum load customarily carried on-road by the truck-trailer combination.  Continue reading

Independence Day, the day when United States of America was declared free and an independent nation. The citizens of America regards this day as the birthday of USA. Some Americans simply call it the “Fourth Of July” on which date it always falls.

The holiday recalls the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. At that time, the people of the 13 British colonies located along the eastern coast of what is now the United States were involved in a war over what they considered unjust treatment by the king and parliament in Britain. The war began in 1775. As the war continued, the colonists realized that they were fighting not just for better treatment; they were fighting for freedom from England’s rule. The Declaration of Independence, signed by leaders from the colonies, stated this clearly, and for the first time in an official document, the colonies were referred to as the United States of America. File Form 2290 For The First Time Used Vehicles In The Month Of August
