ThinkTrade Inc., wishes everyone a Merry Christmas

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

Seasonal Greeting form – a product of Think Trade Inc, the ONLY DECADE OLD E-file Service provider for Efiling Federal Excise Tax Form 2290. Holiday Season gives us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us – a time when we can look back on the year that has passed and prepare for the year ahead. As an Efile Service provider we wish, No Tax payer files their Taxes late and end up paying penalties & Interests.

Federal Excise Tax Form 2290 (HVUT), is due by this month end for vehicles first used in the month of November since July. Every month you have an option to E-file your heavy vehicle use tax even on the last minute of the day it is due and you will still be on time, but December is exceptional. As the holiday season begins the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will shut down their E-file Servers for Yearend maintenance. No change to this rule this year too. The IRS Servers will be down starting December 26th and will remain down till the first week of January 2019.

Since the IRS servers are going to be shut down on the 26th, it is recommended that you E-file your Federal Excise Tax Form 2290 before midnight today December 24th, 2018. That is because the IRS will be on leave tomorrow on lieu of Christmas. No need to panic you still have ample time to Efile your Form 2290, which is due by December 31st.

NOTE: Any Tax return submitted During the Efile Shutdown will be held securely on our servers and will be submitted to the IRS only when they resume Operations. We have already taken necessary actions to alert our users about this Efile Shutdown by adding Alert message on our application. We would also request you to share this information with your friends and colleagues, who are part of Trucking Industry.

Our Tax Experts will be working on all weekdays and can be easily reached on 1-866-245-3918 or you may write to them @ or you may ping them using the LIVE CHAT option on the website. Once again we wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
