Pre-File Form 2290 for 2019-2020 Tax Year & Pay HVUT Later

It is encouraging to see the number of 2019-20 returns taxpayers continue to pre-file after we opened for 2019-20 tax years 2290 filings. We have received many good suggestions and feedbacks as well as valid complaints that are both encouraging and critical. We would request you to keep them coming, as it provides us with very valuable inputs.

We also received a few queries regarding the Sch1 availability for 2019 tax year. So we would like to keep you posted that the IRS systems are not ready yet to accept 2019-20 HVUT Form 2290 returns, and our application will securely hold your electronically filed Tax return and would submit the same to the IRS as soon as they are up and ready to accept Form 2290 for the Tax year 2019 -2020. Which means, you will receive your Stamped schedule 1 copy by the First week of July in your email & Fax, if opted.

The decision to start the pre-filing services is based on the demands from Truckers & Trucking Companies. Ever since we started with the launch of 2290 E-file services to service the trucking industry in 2007, the majority of our customers requested to be able to pre-file their form 2290 so we started offering the services and will continue to offer it every tax year. Having said that, we also give you another great reason to Pre-file your tax returns, DISCOUNTED FILINGS on our E-file preparation fee. This year you can avail a FLAT 10% discount with promo code “PREFILE19” and is valid till June 9th.

When you pre-file, you put your return at the top of the stack meaning you would be the first to receive your sch1 copy when others are doing IRS rounds and preparations to renew their 2290 at the last minute. And you can put taxes out of the way and pay it later any time before September 3rd.

Be the early bird and e-file your form 2290 tax returns today. Tax2290.com recommends all truckers to e-file their returns online at the earliest in order to stay away from late filing penalties and IRS surprises.
